If I had just started a year ago…

“If you had started a year ago where would you be now?”  I see that quote plastered all over the place. I have a love/hate relationship with it and here’s why.  I love it because it makes me think about all the stuff  I’m doing right now. It pushes me to continue working on those things so that in a year I can look back and say “hey I stuck with it and look how far I’ve come”.  I hate it because it reminds me of all the things I started and put off, for whatever reason, and I think “crap, you know how awesome that could have been if I had just did it or stuck to it?”.

I know I’m not the only one who goes through life putting things off and regretting it later.  But I’m at a point in my life where I can’t do that anymore. I’m choosing not to because I’m realizing that the years are starting to really fly by and there’s no slowing down! When my husband set up  Crazypeach.com for me my oldest son was 8.  He’s 14 now( insert big eyes here)! If I had kept up my site who knows where it would have been by now!! What’s crazier is that my sister in law also started a website (more about that later) a few years earlier and kept up with it and now she’s created her own following, is well known in her niche and created her own source of income because of it! I think that’s amazing!! Even yesterday I saw some pictures of my cousin who started working out a year ago to build muscle and her results were incredible! She looks fantastic! All because she had a goal and stuck with it.

So from now on instead of wondering about that quote “if you had started a year ago…”, here’s a better one “Don’t put off until tomorrow what you can do today.”- Ben Franklin.  If you’ve got something that you’ve been wanting to do…GO DO IT! NOW! Time is not stopping for anyone.  You can choose to live your life or sit around and watch it go by.

Thanks for reading, if you like what you’ve read be nice and share it:) Have a fabulous day and enjoy the sun if you have it!
